Admittedly, we are little proud of our home. Even though Flachau has become one of the most popular holiday destinations in the province of Salzburg in recent years, it has still maintained its own, very special charm. A delightful village that despite all of its sports’ infrastructure still radiates peace yet also offers sufficient opportunity for merry celebration.
Surrounded by impressive mountains, one can spend one’s custom-made holiday here throughout the year – in idyllic peace or at lively festivities, full of sporting élan or wonderfully at leisure. Due to its favourable location, Flachau is not least an ideal starting point for excursions into the rest of the Salzburg region, to the Grossglockner or to the Festival City of Salzburg, which is only a 40-minute-drive away, and where a very special magic radiates through its Baroque lanes both summer and winter.
